Sunlu's "Save the Date" isn't for a wedding, but it might just be a party if you're after an AMS heater.

Not to be confused with a standalone filament dryer, which Sunlu already offers. The description is brief but clear: It's "a brand new filament dryer to be integrated on the AMS". (Bambu Lab's AMS? Another brand's multi-material system?)

The details? Close to none, but Sunlu said on Instagram that it will cost less than $100.

The launch is planned for July 10 at 7 am (UTC). Given the issues with hygroscopic filaments, this could be a cool addition to any setup, unless you prefer the DIY way. We'll have to wait and see.

3D Printing Goes Tactical
The future of battlefield logistics may be as close as the nearest 3D printer.

The potential of 3D printing as a frontline, battle-tested, equipment repair and production method is working its way up the chain of command. U.S. General and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine told a recent congressional hearing: “I’m really encouraged by the innovation that’s happening to look at things like additive manufacturing, where we get a hold of the specs … and can just 3D print right on the spot.”
