Fresh from Formnext 2025: SUNLU targets both engineers and artists with ultra-strong filaments, CMYK resins, and a smart hardware add-on for Bambu Lab users.

Even this year, SUNLU participates in the greatly anticipated Formnext event in Frankfurt am Main, one of the most influential fair trades in the additive manufacturing industry in the European region. After the successful visit at Formnext Asia Shenzhen just a few months ago, SUNLU formally introduces the AMS Heater to the Western market and demonstrates how it upgrades Bambu Lab’s existing first generation AMS systems.

As one of the largest manufacturers in the industry, SUNLU has now been pushing and leading the development of engineering filaments, such as carbon- and glass-fiber- reinforced nylon and polycarbonate for a few years, expanding the already versatile and constantly evolving collection of products that it provides. Between the filaments on display at the fair, PEBA, PP, and PEEK stand out as the most complex and challenging of them. The first has been gaining popularity in recent years as the next generation of ultra flexible TPU, while PEEK is still regarded as the unicorn of the industry.

In the field of resins, Formnext was the occasion for SUNLU to introduce its fine-tuned range of CMYK+W colors to the public. The giant manufacturer has teamed up with the expert 3D modeling artists from Bulkamancer to bring into the spotlight some of the most beloved fictional characters from video-games and animation history, giving the team the chance to also showcase the full capacity of 14K resin to reproduce even the smallest details in complex models.

With more than 1,500 tons of materials produced per month, SUNLU is certainly a beast to be reckoned with as it contributes to an ever growing branch of the supply chain. Formnext Frankfurt is only proof of how beloved this brand is becoming and how fast its name is expanding. The upcoming deals and discounts for the end of November on SUNLU’s official site combined with the passion for the craft are promoting one clear goal: to make creation simple.
