Product Reviewer/Writer – Freelance (Remote)

About the Role

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to shape the future of digital fabrication? We are expanding our editorial network and seeking dynamic, high-caliber freelance talent to join the All3DP family. As a Freelance Product Reviewer for All3DP, you will sit at the forefront of industry innovation, delivering deep-dive evaluations in the fields of desktop 3D printing, laser engraving/cutting, 3D scanning, and/or other emerging creative technologies. Experience in one of the fields mentioned is essential to the role – we’re looking for talent in multiple areas to strengthen our coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end product testing: Conduct comprehensive, hands-on evaluations of review hardware, systematically probing the full suite of features, capabilities, and software integrations.
  • Authoritative copy for the enthusiast audience: Deliver engaging, authoritative, and value-driven editorial content that demonstrates real-world expertise that leads to honest, relatable appraisal.
  • Original photography: Produce high-quality, edited product photography and software screenshots that seamlessly complement the written narrative.
  • Responsible disposal: Oversee the secure receipt, testing environment, and responsible disposal or recycling of review units and consumables.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record: 2+ years of published writing experience with established digital media outlets.
  • Domain competency: Strong working knowledge in one or more of key domains (3D printing, laser cutting, 3D scanning, other consumer creative tech ecosystems.)
  • Audience-centric communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, compelling content for a savvy consumer tech audience.
  • Operational reliability: Content delivery according to agreed-upon production milestones.

Compensation
