It’s taken a month, but the Bambu Lab P2S and P2S Combo are now available to buy on Bambu Lab’s webstore, with the H2C pricing confirmed and expected to follow in the next couple of weeks.
A short one this, with the news that Bambu Lab’s logistical hurdles, whatever they may be, seem to be settled for now.
Last month’s major printer release, the Bambu Lab P2S, is now in stock and shipping within 1-3 business days from the company’s U.S. facilities. That’s great news for fans of the mid-ranger, which delivers the quick, quality printing established with the P1S, but with several quality-of-life upgrades plus features borrowed from the new H-series line of machines.
The basic Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer costs $549 for now, while the Bambu Lab P2S Combo, which includes the AMS 2 Pro heated filament switcher, costs $799 (a $29 saving over the printer and AMS purchased separately). Our testing of the printer is ongoing, but so far we’ve found it every bit equal to the workhorse the P1S was, but just nicer to use operate, use and maintain thanks to the new touchscreen display, quick-swappable nozzles, and expanded sensor and camera suite.
News of the P2S’ availability also brings finalized details of the just-revealed H2C printer, too. The pricing is fixed and preorders are open with shipping currently estimated to commence December 12. Orders are limited to one per customer for now.
Our H2C has finally landed in the All3DP lab, so expect to see our thoughts on this strange and possibly revolutionary 3D printer, not to mention my interview with co-founder and CEO, Dr. Ye Tao from Bambu Lab’s booth at Formnext, soon.
