The Only Manufacturer in Town
It's not typical for All3DP to cover the opening of a very small 3D printing shop

located in a town of less than 5,000 people in Minnesota, except for the sense of hopefulness we got from reading the coverage of This N That N More in the Wadena Pioneer Journal. Two young Air Force vets, and parents of four, are turning their love of 3D printing into a storefront business and hitching their future to the community's demand for 3D prints and printer supplies. Their promise to the town from their brochure: “We can scan anything broken (hinge, knob, air vent, bike pedal, etc.) and print a new version of it.” Who wouldn't want that? Of course, they're also online.

Praise Be to Clee
May 25 is Clee Day,

and it's looking like one of the better days to build a Voron.

Some Voron Discord server silliness seems to have become something of a tradition. Now, hardware vendors join in to offer discounts on the day. Check out our Clee Day article, where we have a list of participating vendors, and visit the Voron Discord to find relevant codes and see who else may have joined in.

World Record Row
There are no spare parts in the middle of the Pacific

so the custom-designed 3D printed ones you have on your boat better be up to the task. Brothers Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan Maclean are currently rowing from Peru to Australia in a boat outfitted with about 50 various 3D printed parts, including critical oar holders. Formlabs donated the printer and materials — thus the somewhat promotional, yet still impressive, video. Follow their journey in real time.

Build it and they will come
A new Mecca for 3D printing nerds.

You know who you are;  you probably went to Amsterdam just to walk across the 3D printed canal bridge (before it was removed in 2023). So, now, pack your bags for Switzerland! The Tor Alva or "White Tower" is now open. It's the tallest (30-meters) 3D printed structure in the world — and apparently serves no other purpose, except for being a showcase by the technology Univ. ETH in Zurich for sustainable construction, computational design, and digital fabrication.
