The Elegoo Jupiter 2, a large-format resin printer first shown publicly at Rapid+TCT 2025 in Detroit, is finally ready to launch, getting its final preview at Rapid+TCT 2026, Boston and available to buy now.

A live launch event is scheduled for April 14 at 10 PM EDT – April 15 for buyers in European time zones – timed to coincide with Elegoo’s presence at Rapid + TCT 2026 in Boston. Priced at $949, the Jupiter 2 was originally slated for a Q3 2025 release.

The Jupiter 2 is Elegoo’s largest resin printer to date. Its 14-inch “16K” mono LCD runs at 15,120 × 6,230 pixels, giving it an XY pixel pitch of 20 × 26 µm across a build volume of 302 × 162 × 300 mm. It’s a stark step up from the original Jupiter and Jupiter SE’s 12.8-inch 6K panel and 51 µm pixel pitch.

This upgrade in resolution stretches across a much larger build area, making the upgrade a notable one.

Print speed maxes out at 70 mm/h. There’s no tilt-release mechanism as seen on the company’s smaller flagships – meaning the Jupiter 2 falls short of the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K’s top speed of 150 mm/h. At 70 mm/h across a full 300 mm Z-height, tall models will take north of four hours, minimum.

On the workflow side, the Jupiter 2 ships with an automated resin management system that feeds resin to the vat and recovers unused material back to the bottle, handling up to 2 kg. Elegoo lists its own SatelLite as the recommended slicer; third-party compatibility with other slicers like ChiTuBox or Lychee isn’t confirmed in launch materials. The printer also connects to Elegoo’s Matrix smartphone app. A bundled wash and cure station is available at 16% off for early buyers.

Other notable features include a heated resin vat – essential for resin conditioning and increasing the print success rate – and a “modular” design that simplifies the LCD swapping procedure. The LCDs inside printers like this are consumables with finite lifespans. Elegoo’s concession to improve this aspect of long-term use is nice to see.

Available today, you can grab the Elegoo Jupiter 2 for $949 from the Elegoo webstore.
