A teaser posted to the company’s social media channels focuses on the old printer's most recognizable, and maligned, feature – its display – beneath a big “REFRESH” message. So buckle up, a new printer is on its way.

We’re never far away from a new printer release, and Bambu Lab is providing the goods with a teaser campaign apparently kicking off today. An image, posted across the brand’s social media pages has set a metaphorical clock ticking for October 14, 2025 at 3 pm CET, when a full reveal for the P2S will surely follow.

So we now have an answer to the question of which of the company’s existing line-up will get the next-gen treatment.

What does the new Bambu Lab teaser show?

Well, actually, nothing much. Unlike past teasers the company has put out about new hardware, cryptically showing off new components stripped of the full context of the surrounding machine, this one just shows the P1S’s much-maligned (including by us) display, beneath a layer of glitch-style artefacts.

I don’t think there’s much to read into it, other than the seemingly obvious – the old display is out and, likely, a full color touchscreen as present on the X, A, and H-series models is in. The message accompanying the image says “Powerful, yet simple. Proven, yet innovative. Familiar, yet full of potential” which leaves some ambiguity about just how far of a change up in hardware and features the new machine will demonstrate. Will we see a full next-gen version that supersedes the P1S, refreshing everything, or will we see a lower level update that refreshes some aspects of the P1S – a facelift of sorts? We’ll all have to wait until October 14 to find out.

Whatever it is, it follows the recent dump of hardware and glimpses at future hardware. In September the company launched the H2S, and in the same breath gave users a reason to hold off with a look at its upcoming Vortek nozzle-switching system. And shortly before this, the H2D Pro enterprise-friendly device launched, selling through retailers and offering security-minded operations an option.
