Silhouette Art
Without revealing too much about the plot (in case you’ve missed all the social media for the past decade), this silhouette art perfectly summarizes what you need to know about season one. Our main characters, who rely on their bikes to travel through the suburbs of Hawkins, Indiana, are about to face supernatural entities (both good and bad) as they search for their missing friend in the Upside Down.
This print consists of two parts: the silhouette and the backing, which slide together. Both can print flat so supports aren’t required. Ideally, the silhouette and backing should be contrasting colors to emphasize the scene. The designer also recommends enabling thin walls to pull off this print.

Lightbox with Hidden Shadow
This lightbox looks innocent and cue enough…until light’s are on and the Mind Flayer haunts our heroes.
The designer created this lightbox and updated it a few times based on makers’ comments and feedback, which explains the variety of versions and different settings suggested. A layer height of 0.2 mm or 0.1 mm should do the trick, plus 8% infill, and while it’ll take around 7 hours, we think it’s well worth it.
Last but not least, if your printer’s a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, another maker shared their print profile for the smaller print bed.

RGB Lights
The Stranger Things title and opening sequence are known for their spooky yet alluring glow. To replicate this iconic logo at home, you can build your own by 3D printing a box with a stencil of the logo, and then illuminating the stencil with a set of LEDs.
The only printable parts in this assembly are the box itself and the title face. Due to the lack of overhangs, both can be printed without supports at a 0.2-mm layer height and at least 50% infill for durability. For some extra mood lighting, you can opt for RGB (red, green, blue) LEDs to change the colors!

Demogorgon
As a science fiction show that takes place in the US in the 80s, it’s almost impossible not to reference Dungeons & Dragons, a fantasy tabletop RPG (role-playing game). Playing the game was a favorite pastime for the main characters, so they have often used D&D lore to explain the supernatural events that occurred since season one.
For example, the recurring antagonist throughout the series is the “Demogorgon,” based on the in-game monster of the same name. A bipedal creature with superhuman agility and strength, the Demogorgon in Stranger Things truly lives up to its namesake.
Because the Demogorgon has long, thin limbs, many users with FDM printers experienced issues printing the arms and hands. Supports are also required due to the overhangs in the entire model. However, other users have successfully printed the figure either when it’s scaled up or as separate files, both with supports. Another user, Geoffro, has also created a remixed model to make printing easier. And needless to say, painting the model will give the Demogorgon a bit more life – if you aren’t scared.

Vecna
Vecna is an antagonist also named after a Dungeons & Dragons character that the main characters felt he resembled. The Vecna in D&D is a mortal-turned-deity with a vengeful personality and disfigured appearance. His ability to cast high-level spells, as well as his status as a god, makes him one of the most powerful villains in the D&D universe.
While his Stranger Things counterpart bears striking similarities, his origins are quite different as he wasn’t directly inspired by the character. However, this is all we can say about Vecna without spoiling things! If you’ve made it all the way to the show’s finale, well, there’s also an updated season 5 Vecna you might want to 3D print.
Like many 3D printable busts, Vecna doesn’t require any supports, and the creator uploaded the bust separate from the stand, so that there are no issues if you want to print the parts in different materials or colors.

"Mornings" Sign
“Mornings are for coffee and contemplation” was famously quoted by Officer Jim Hopper in the very first episode of season one. Despite the hectic nature of his job, he still makes time for his morning routine before returning to work. This sign displays Hopper’s quote in the style of the Stranger Things title card and makes a great display piece for fans of the show who like to enjoy their morning coffee.
Although the sign is printed in two different colors, this doesn’t mean a multi-material printer is required. Filaments can be manually swapped by pausing the print or implementing a stop in the G-code at the layer where you wish to change colors.

There have been many creative designs for 3D printed headphone stands over the years, and this one is no exception. This Stranger Things headphone stand is both functional and aesthetically pleasing while capturing the major plotline of season one.
To accommodate smaller printers, the model prints in two pieces that connect. For the top portion, the designer recommends placing supports for overhangs touching the build plate and enabling thin lines or walls in the print settings.

Demogorgon Keychain
It’s the Demogorgon, so we should be scared! But it’s cute. And it’s a useful design. We’re not quite sure how to react to this model…
The designer shared three printing options: The first, with the keychain add-on meant for a multicolor 3D printing setup; the second without the keychain feature, and the third for a single-color 3D printer. PLA does the trick nicely, as the many shared makes reveal, but if PETG is what you’re going for, look for the print profile shared by maker Otomar.

Mind Flayer
Similarly to the Demogorgon, the Mind Flayer was inspired by and named after its Dungeons & Dragons counterpart. In D&D, a mind flayer, or illithid, is a humanoid creature with psychic powers. Their telepathic abilities allow them to stay in the dark while manipulating other creatures to do their bidding. In Stranger Things, the Mind Flayer plays a similar role when making its first appearance in season two.
If oriented on its back, the Mind Flayer may not need supports, especially if your printer can handle curved overhangs. However, the designer has emphasized the importance of bed adhesion. For best results, this print can benefit from rafts, supports, and a slower printing speed.

Alphabet Lights
These may look like your average Christmas lights, but in the context of Stranger Things, this decoration would also be suitable for Halloween! However, it wouldn’t be complete without a set of 3D printed letters strung under the lights.
In season one, this setup allowed Joyce Byer to track paranormal activity – and communicate with Will – in the Upside Down based on the flickering of the lights. Faithful to the show, the printable letters are even in the original font.
To hang the letters, each one has a hole in its upper section, but they could also be attached to the wall with double-sided tape. They’re also easily scalable for any size of lights.

Demogorgon Bookend
For avid readers or those interested in a Stranger Things shelf or tabletop piece, this bookend serves the perfect purpose! It was digitally sculpted in the Oculus Medium app and shows a Demogorgon about to come out of a portal from the Upside Down.
Due to the Demogorgon’s crouching position, supports are definitely needed. Another user who printed the bookend also reported its legs breaking off because of its small size. A higher infill percentage and increased walls could potentially resolve this issue. However, supports should be carefully removed for best results.

Magnet Set
The Stranger Things magnet set is a subtle nod to the series by referencing its most iconic symbols. From the “flower” of the Demogorgon’s head to Eleven’s love for Eggo waffles, there’s something for every fan in this collection.
Their size and simplicity also make these the easiest designs to print on this list. To turn them into magnets, some of the models have holes for 5 x 2 mm magnets in the back. The designer recommends adding superglue to the backing to keep the magnets in place. Alternatively, you can also use magnetic foil, especially for the models without holes.

Lamp
This Stranger Things lamp is stunning, and the contrasting colors really drive the point of the peace (before the story starts) in Hawkins and the chaos of the Upside Down.
It should be noted that the creator opted for a more involved project, where an Arduino Nano makes parts of the red light have a lightning effect, as seen on the show. So, while this might not be the easiest option from this list, it will definitely be a fun challenge to take on. The maker included all the necessary documentation, so you needn’t worry about going on a scavenger hunt for more information if you’re an Arduino newbie. And as the very cool makes show, it’s entirely replicable.

Character Set
The season one character set is a cute interpretation of our main characters (from left-to-right): Will Byers, Lucas Sinclair, Eleven, and Dustin Henderson. While the figurines will print in only one color of your choice unless you have a multi-material printer, many users have chosen to paint them – with good results, thanks to their round, simplistic geometry.
While the oversized heads and hands of the characters are what make them adorable, it also means they create significant overhangs, so support will be needed. And if you’re wondering if a resin 3D printing setup will yield better results than an FDM one, while the overall conversation is a bit more nuanced than “yes” or “no”, you might want to look into how the systems compare and check out the relevant makes.

D&D Dice Tower
Lastly, to pay tribute to Stranger Things‘ primary inspiration, we’ve included this medieval-inspired Dungeons & Dragons dice tower, affectionately named “Another Dice Tower” by the designer. When dice are loaded from the top of the tower, players are able to watch their descent down the twisted staircase to the front gates where they’ll reveal the numbers that were cast.
For best results, it’s recommended to give the twisted staircase an outer wall (preferably clear), about the size of 1.5-liter bottle, to prevent any dice from falling out before they reach the bottom tray. Users have reported difficulties printing the staircase and banisters, so the designer recommends printing this model with a raft and supports for additional stability, at an infill of 20% or greater.
