Phrozen’s New High Impact Resin is Available for Preorder
Phrozen has teamed up with Loctite to create Onyx Impact Plus Resin, which the company claims can not only survive impact but is flexible too.
Phrozen, the company behind the Sonic Mini 8K Resin Printer, has just launched Onyx Impact Plus Resin which is now available for preorder at ~$180.
The company claims new resin is incredibly durable and strong. According to Phrozen, “a single 6mm thick board printed with the Phrozen Onyx Impact can sustain the weight of a motorcycle.”

The company also claims the new resin is shock resistant and malleable, ideal for creating objects that go through repeated stress, like buckles or springs.
Phrozen worked with Loctite to formulate the specialized resin. The companies had also teamed up last year to create the Onyx Rigid Pro410, a durable and rigid resin designed to withstand heavy loads.
You can preorder the new resin from the first batch until October 21, 2022, and expect shipment in about 4-5 weeks.
