A teaser image for the company’s showing at September’s IFA Berlin show suggests so.

Not sure how we missed this one, but it looks like Anycubic may be jumping on the enclosed CoreXY bandwagon in the not-too-distant future after a teaser for last month’s tech show, IFA Berlin, posted on the company’s German Instagram account, gave us a glimpse at a mysterious 3D printer we’ve not seen before.

From what little we can see in the image, there are similarities to the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon; it’s enclosed with what appears to be a glass top lid with a handle, a top-mounted display, plus accommodation for a multimaterial unit perched on top, much like the AMS can with Bambu Lab’s machine. Presumably, this multimaterial device is the ACE Pro, Anycubic’s answer to Bambu Lab’s AMS multimaterial filament loader, which launched with the Kobra 3 3D printer earlier this year.

There’s not much to go on, and plenty of questions to be answered. Anycubic’s birthday announcements have come and gone, and the next big 3D printing fixture on the calendar is Formnext in November, so speculating on when we’d likely see more of this mysterious machine, our money’s on then. Stay tuned.
