Limited to just 300 spools, this layer-hiding purple glitter filament is the first of many limited “drops” to come from the Fillamentum.
Every season is the season for black filament. We know this. But October in particular gives you cover to go nuts on the oranges and purples of the filament world. In this spirit, and kicking off its Halloween season, Czech filament manufacturer Fillamentum has just released the first of its “The Drop” series of highly limited batches of filament.
Called “Witch Please!”, it’s a unique color variant of the company’s PLA Extrafill series, blending a punchy purple color with reflective lilac glitter. The printing properties match up to any regular PLA Extrafill from the company, meaning it’s easy to print and fully compatible with multi-filament systems, and typically looks great.
Available on 750g spools, a spool of Witch Please! costs $32. The filament officially launches next week on October 20, 2025, but preorders are already open and chipping away at that 300-spool limit. Other limited batches of filament will follow in the future, an initiative inspired by the fashion world and drawing on the company’s reputation for vibrant filaments.
Fillamentum initially found its place in the filament world with the luxurious, layer-line hiding “Vertigo” glitter blends, going on to offer a range of distinctive colors across its materials, as well as less common eco-friendlier materials like its PLA/PHB blend Non-Oilen, and OrCA, a PA6-CF that uses nylon sourced from discarded fishing nets.
