Building on the recently launched Falcon A1 10W, Creality’s latest expansion into the wider crafting space is a the Falcon A1 Pro, dual-laser-toting engraver for pros looking to monetize their work.

This new 20W machine, launching under its Creality Falcon sub-brand, aims to blend professional power with a host of “intelligent features” that appear designed to streamline the creative workflow for makers and small businesses.

In pure numbers, the Falcon A1 Pro is a 20W diode laser engraver and cutter. Creality states the primary blue laser module is capable of working with over 350 different materials, including coated metals and ceramics. The machine is fully enclosed, boasts an engraving speed of up to 600mm/s. For those needing more versatility, an optional 2W infrared laser module is also available, which extends the A1 Pro’s capabilities to different types of plastics and dark, opaque surfaces out of the primary laser’s capabilities.

What seems to set the Falcon A1 Pro apart is its focus on ease of use and automation – chiefly the full touchscreen display that, like the company’s 3D printers, affords basic interactions and job setup directly on the device. Beyond that, job creation, control, and remote monitoring via app gives you the possibility of ditching the computer to run the laser. There’s a new project repository, CraftSeek, too, to inspire usage of the A1 Pro.

It features an “AI” autofocus system that uses a camera and laser-ranging to set focus in under three seconds with a stated accuracy of ±0.012 inches, even on uneven materials. Specifics about the build volume haven’t been shared with us at the time of writing, but if it’s the same as the A1 10W (a safe guess) then you can expect around 381 x 305 mm of work area.

Creality will launch the Falcon A1 Pro with a series of early-bird offers during its pre-order window from August 5 to August 18, 2025. Super Early Birds can grab one at a 40%-discounted price of $659.40, with subsequent less-early birds snagging 30% and 20% discounts on further, limited, batches of the A1 Pro.

Ahead of the August 8 launch, you can check out the Creality website for snazzier images and the details in other words.
