Three new Panda series upgrades expand your nozzle options for high-flow printing and nozzle hygiene.
Another week, another set of Biqu Panda series accessories and upgrades have released. We all know the procedure by now. Let’s dig in.
This time around, there’s a focus on flow and excessive flow control, with the Panda Juicer hot end accessory offering standard, high-flow, and high-flow non-stick nozzles for the A- and H-series Bambu Lab printers, and the Panda Purge Shield and Brush PX for the P-, and X- series machines. The accessories join the fast-growing and popular Panda series of accessories, which we last reported on less than a month ago.
The Panda Juicer is, effectively, a drop-in hot end replacement for the A- and H- series printers, with the key differentiation being that you can actually remove the nozzle using the provided wrenches. Four nozzle options are listed for the Panda Juicer, topping out with the HFC-H/A (high-flow, coated for A- and H- series,) a tough nozzle with filament-resistant nano coating that in theory should keep your prints cleaner for longer. The coating on this nozzle is only rated for short-term performance at 320°C, so H-series users should bear that in mind.
Stepping down through the three nozzles variants, there’s also a non-coated high-flow (HF-H/A) nozzle that uses the same hardened steel as the HFC-H/A, just minus the non-stick coating.
The third option of Panda Juicer hot end/nozzles is the SF-H/A, a “standard” flow, again compatible with all of the A1, A1 Mini, and H2D. Given the A- and H- series’ convenience in simply being able to swap out the whole hot end assembly in one go, it puzzles me a little wondering why you might want to “revert” and tinker with swapping out only the nozzles, a process that’s fiddly and risky. Perhaps the answer is for the sake of having the option.
Less ambiguous is the Panda Purge Shield and Brush PX, two accessories for P- and X- series Bambu Lab machines dedicated to reigning in messy purge poop situations.
The Purge Shield offers an “anti-poop forcefield” – which loosely translates to a 3M-tape backed non-stick pad that sits inside the printer’s purge chute, preventing build-ups of purged filament. The Panda Brush PX is also simply understood. Replacing the stock nozzle bumper (the loud thing that rocks back and forth then the printer wipes its nozzle) this silicone brush clicks into place without any great installation effort. Biqu claims the duo bring “stability you can trust” and “multi-material printing, perfected.”
We’ve reached out for clarification from Biqu about how high-flow the high-flow Juicer nozzles are compared to Bambu Lab’s own high-flow nozzles, and will update the article accordingly.
In the meantime, you can check out the new Panda series upgrades for yourself over on the Biqu webstore.
