Before we get to the list, be sure that you take note of food safety guidelines.
Some 3D printing filaments may contain chemicals that, though fine for other uses, really shouldn’t be touching your food. 3D printed items can also be prone to bacteria buildup in the cracks between layers if not washed regularly. We recommend using a food-safe epoxy or sealant to plug the crevices in your print.
Don’t stress, though. It’s highly unlikely that using a PLA cookie cutter will cause you any harm. If you want to be on the safe side, there are FDA-certified food-safe filaments that you can use to print dishwasher-safe cups, plates, and more.
Now that you’re prepared, let’s get to the delicious part!
