The mini PC and NAS system seemingly boasts a powerful package in a small form factor – and if it’s anything like our time with the IceWhale ZimaBlade, it will be worth the price tag.

Hold on to your pockets. CWWK has launched a CWWK X86-P6 Pocket mini PC and NAS board.

In addition to working as a network-attached storage device (think local network cloud-based storage, if you’re new to the concept) the device also functions as an SBC, and features HDMI, USB, and Ethernet ports, fan lock holes for an external fan – in addition to the internal one, CNX Software reports – and Wi-Fi compatibility.

While we haven’t had the opportunity to use the device, we’ve appreciated similar x86 NAS devices; our time with the highly affordable IceWhale ZimaBlade was very positive – so much so that our reviewer still uses the system in his day-to-day.

Also worth noting that CWWK also offers the CWWK X86-P5, which looks comparable in terms of price and specs, although it may lean slightly to the less powerful side of things.

The CWWK X86-P6 starts at $195.63 and goes up to more than $500, depending on the processor, RAM, and storage combo you choose, from nothing onboard to 32 GB DDR5 with 2 TB NVMe. Check CWWK’s website for more.
