Graphics boffins Nvidia have shrunk the means for machine learning and AI-driven decision making into a teeny tiny low-power IoT device-mountable board. The revolution begins here!
Leveraging its Jetson AI framework, US graphics hardware giant Nvidia has just released the biggest small thing to enhance hobbyist roboticist’s projects and IoT devices.
Called Jetson Nano, this teeny System on Module measures out at just 70 x 45 mm and offers 472 GFLOPs of computing power for running contemporary AI algorithms. Suited to computer vision, high-performance computing, and AI tasks, it should take personal projects in needs of some smarts to the next level. And all at a sub-$100 price point.
