Black Friday savings are sweeping the printersphere. Snapmaker's seasonal sale sees the U1 toolchanger 3D printer drop to lower even than its early-bird Kickstarter price.
‘Tis the season for brand-specific sales, and Snapmaker has arrived with, actually, one of a nicest looking offers we’ve seen so far in this year’s crop of deals. You can pick up the U1, one of the earliest and, arguably, still one of the best toolchangers for $699. Since its full retail launch back in April the price jumped from $849 to $899. Early backers on Kickstarter could pick one up for ~$750. That’s pretty terrific value for a mid-size build volume, four independent toolheads, filament autoloading and an increasingly open and open-to-experiment ecosystem nurtured by its maker.
Elsewhere, the Artisan 3-in-1 3D printer, laser engraver and CNC cutting frankenmachine is available in its ultimate form, including its enclosure, dual-extrusion 3D printing module, higher-power 40W laser module, higher-power 200W CNC module, rotary module, air purifier, plus $55 worth of materials, in addition to the 3-in-1 itself. It’s a monstrous package, down to $2,797 in Snapmaker’s sale.
Festive filament bundles offer higher percentages off their individual spool prices – $65 for a five-spool bundle of SnapSpeed PLA – while a filament bulk sale can knock up to 43% off for purchases of 10 spools or more.
Scrubbing through the list, another standout is the SnapDryer modular filament drying system. Typically $79.99 (likewise the Polymaker-made but functionally identical PolyDryer) it’s down to $71.99 in the Snapmaker Black Friday sale.
