Siraya Tech expands its flexible material portfolio with a nylon-elastomer filament that delivers higher rebound, reduced weight, and enhanced chemical resistance.
Siraya Tech, the Calif.-based material maker and sister company to 3D printer manufacturer Peopoly, just released Rebound PEBA 95A ($42.49/0.8kg pre-sale), a nylon-elastomer copolymer filament designed to meet a growing demand for high-performance flexible materials in 3D printing.
Compared to TPU, PEBA (polyether block amide) is lighter, bouncier, and recovers its shape faster when bent or stretched. It’s often used in high-performance applications like running shoe midsoles, sports gear, and parts where rebound speed, weight savings, and chemical resistance are important.
As a 3D printing filament, PEBA is generally more challenging to 3D print than TPU and often requires a more capable printer setup, including higher extrusion temperatures and direct-drive extruders. Achieving good bed adhesion can also be trickier, as PEBA may warp or curl without a heated bed or controlled environment, plus fine-tuning is important to manage issues like stringing and oozing.

That said, if you need more bounce — an energy return rate of 78% compared to TPU’s 30% to 60%, along with a 15–20% weight reduction compared to standard TPU filaments — PEBA is a good choice. Siraya Tech offers verified print profiles for Bambu Lab X1C and Flashforge Adventurer 5M for Orca Slicer, among others.
Siraya Tech says its Rebound PEBA 95A has performance characteristics, such as creep resistance, enabled by its nylon backbone, and broad chemical resistance, which supports use in chemically intensive or outdoor environments. Targeted use cases include flexible seals and gaskets, high-rebound cushioning elements, lightweight drone components, and durable vibration-dampening housings, the company says.
“Rebound PEBA 95A breaks past TPU’s limitations in rebound, weight, and toughness, giving engineers and designers a more powerful material to build with,” said Mark Peng, Founder of Siraya Tech.
The launch of Rebound PEBA 95A follows Siraya Tech’s earlier expansion of its flexible materials in May 2025, when the company introduced three new elastomer products:
These materials reflect Siraya Tech’s strategic move to address a broader range of flexible 3D printing needs across both FDM and resin platforms, appealing to users in industrial design, engineering, automotive, and consumer goods sectors.
Technical documentation, including datasheets and print settings, is accessible through Siraya Tech’s support pages at siraya.tech/pages/tds and Print Settings.
Rebound PEBA 95A is available for pre-order on Siraya Tech’s official website, with Amazon availability expected soon.
