The successor to the E2 series, the new E3 features "Pro Ironing" for smoother surfaces and improved TPU handling, all for under $2,500.
Raise3D today unveiled a new version of its E Series independent dual extruder (IDEX) 3D printer called the E3. As the successor to its E2 and E2CF, the E3 is actually far less expensive, starting at $2,499. The E2 debuted in 2019 at just under $3,000.
New features on the E3 compared to the E2 are a Flexible Filament Auxiliary Feeder for better and faster TPU printing and the ability to achieve better surface quality (average roughness >2 µm). The surface finish improvements are via a new Pro Ironing feature described as a “synergy of the E3 hardware, compatible filaments, and ideaMaker slicing profiles.”

There’s also an optional composite filament print head, indicating that the E3 supports composite filaments (e.g., carbon fiber infused) and replaces the E2CF, which retails at $3,999.
Raise3D says the E3’s print speed with TPU and composite materials can reach 200 mm/s.
The E series printers are some of the only IDEX printers on the market. IDEX can double output by printing identical parts simultaneously and can combine materials that require different extrusion temperatures.
The E3 is available starting today, Sept. 8, 2025, with a special offer on orders placed between Sept. 8 and Sept. 30: Buy one E3 printer, and get 10 free Raise3D Premium PLA filaments (1kg).
The press materials note that listed prices apply to the U.S. and Europe, with other regions potentially varying.
