It’s a new year, and there’s no better time to pick up a hobby. Most people’s New Year’s resolutions are to start going to the gym or to read more books – but why not give becoming a maker a shot? There’s something so satisfying about printing something you need – something you want – be it a useful tool, a replacement for a broken part, something decorative like a vase, tabletop gaming mini, or literally whatever you can imagine and model. So, if you’re looking to get into 3D printing and you think you missed out on the Black Friday or Holiday deals, don’t fret; many manufacturers have sales running into January with close to the same pricing as before the holidays. Here’s a quick rundown.

Anycubic’s New Year sale has most of its printers available at their Black Friday pricing. The Kobra S1 Combo, for example, is still available for $459 while the Kobra 3 V2 Combo is available for $329. The excellent Photon Mono M7 Max is available for $699 – not quite as great as the $599 price it was previously on sale for, but it is still a good deal. And of course, you can also grab some filament and resin refills, though you will have to buy a minimum of 10KG.

Elegoo’s New Year sale seems to carry the same Black Friday pricing for most of its products. It’s worth taking a look at for the price of the Centauri Carbon alone, which is back down around Black Friday pricing at $279. It’s not as steep a discount as Elegoo’s website suggests with its $413 price tag, though – it usually hovers around the $300 mark. The Saturn 4 Ultra is available for $399, and the Mars 5 is available for $179. There are various printer and material bundles that you can check out as well.

Some other highlights that are still available:

  • The Flsun S1 Pro is still available for $599.
  • The Snapmaker U1 is still available at its launch price of $849.
  • eSun has discounts on bundles, up to 40% off if you buy 15 rolls.
  • MatterHackers has deals on various printers, filaments, and other hardware.
  • Sunlu still has a bulk sale going on until January 15, but you have to buy a minimum of 6KG worth of rolls for it to apply.

It’s not as vast a list as we see for Black Friday, but enough to get you started if you’re on the fence about diving into 3D printing.
