Chitubox and Chitubox Pro have been merged as of August 6, 2025 following an update to the popular slicer software that has put it into Beta for V0.0.7.

Alongside 14 other confirmed changes, Chitubox now also features an additional paid tier badged “Advanced”.

The new Advanced tier sits between Basic and Pro, and for $99 ($79 for a year right now), it contains all the basics offered in, well, the Basic tier, as well as a variety of additional features such as the following:

  • The ability to run on two devices simultaneously
  • Model manipulations including split and boolean operations
  • Advanced support parameters
  • Support placement and edit with advanced tools
  • One-click adaptive support generation
  • Ability to work on up to 100 platforms

Whether or not it’s worth its asking price or if it’s worth sticking with the free Basic tier or hopping up to the $169 ($139 for a year right now) Pro tier is really something only the individual can decide. Perhaps the addition of a new mid-range tier suggests that the Pro tier was just too much of a jump for many, though.

Also included with the update is the new “Chituhive” feature. This is a model archive that allows users to browse, buy, and import models directly from MyMiniFactory from within Chitubox itself. Chitubox users also get a 10% discount on models purchased through it.

AI is also making an appearance, with Chitubox’s full release notes stating an AI assistant will now be on hand. It does list this as a Beta feature, however, so assume its assistance might be slightly flawed for the time being.

On a related note, the release notes also list the currently known issues with this release, which are worth noting before getting deep into experimenting with V0.0.7.
