Bondtech has placed some new bimetal variants of the CHT nozzle up for pre-order, with a short production run available until the end of the year.

The nozzles are made of nickel-coated copper vanadium and come in 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 1.0 mm sizes. Three versions are available for RepRap M6-style, MK8-style, and Volcano-style heat blocks. Bundle packages are also available.

Built to work with carbon and glass-fiber composite materials – and to improve flow rate by 25-65% – Bondtech says its bimetal CHT nozzles also boast a higher melt capacity thanks to an increased surface area of heating walls. The nozzles are optimized for 1.75 mm filament and compatible with 2.85 mm filament.

Those subscribed to Bondtech’s newsletter should have received an alert last week, with orders promised to ship on December 15. Orders placed after that time are set for a January 2023 ship date.
