With pre-orders of its upcoming Bambu Lab P1P currently live – following rave reviews of its Kickstarter darlings, the X1 and X1 Carbon – Bambu Lab is a hot topic in the 3D printing world.

Rightfully riding that wave is Dr. Ye Tao, Bambu Lab’s CEO, who has scheduled an AMA (“ask me anything”) on the r/3Dprinting subreddit for Thursday, December 15, at 6 p.m. EST (11 p.m. UTC). There, he will answer user-submitted questions and “chat together about [the Bambu Lab] brand and the future of 3D printing.”

According to a Bambu Lab blog post, Dr. Tao is a former product manager at drone manufacturer DJI and holds a Ph.D. in fluid dynamics. There’s no word on precisely what Dr. Tao’s vision for “the future of 3D printing” looks like or if new products will be revealed during the AMA, meaning you’ll have to tune in to find out.
