MakerWorld Gets Christmas-y with MakerLab Ornament Maker

It’s the holiday season in MakerWorld, and celebrations are in full swing with the Christmas Ornament Maker, a free MakerLab tool that lets users create customized “spinning” tree ornaments.

The tool’s about as simple as it sounds. Users choose between a cutout or solid ornament style, as well as pick from a variety of regular and Christmas colors. They’ll then add text, emojis, shapes, Christmas-themed stickers – think snowflakes, Santas, and reindeer –or upload an SVG file of their own.

Each ornament can be printed with up to four rotating rings, potentially resulting in a gyroscope-like ornament that will surely wow your guests – or at least tantalize your cat – as it hangs and spins on your tree. The tool is free for MakerWorld users, but will only be available during the holiday season.
