The release brings the colorful filament maker's range to over 100 filaments, now including vibrant spools of TPU.
3D printing enthusiasts with a penchant for vibrant, colorful prints have a little extra flexibility in their prints this week, thanks to Cookiecad’s latest release. The New York-based company unveiled a new line of TPU filament in a range of fantasy-inspired colors.
New filaments are only as good as their names, and Cookiecad’s new batch has memorable ones including Blue Star Stuff, Pale Pink Elixir, Fairy Floss, and Mermaid.
The company has what it claims is the largest range of colors in TPU filament. By our count the new colors bump the TPU lineup to 17 spools of (in fairness to Cookiecad, dazzlingly colorful) filament.

“We love pushing the envelope on color and gradients and we’re thrilled to see all the use cases of our TPU portfolio,” said company founders Nathan Apter and Melissa Kaye in a release to mark the launch. “This exciting new range of colors and styles reflect our mission to fuel the imagination of DIY creators everywhere.”
Founded by classically trained pastry chef Melissa Kaye and software entrepreneur Nathan Apter, Cookiecad is known for its kaleidoscopic filaments and accessible design software. The new TPU line joins a portfolio of over 100 filaments and is now available on Cookiecad.com, and other retailers.
