A ready-to-run solution for multi-filament printing on Klipper is coming next year, says Biqu.

We’re not done with Formnext updates yet. At Biqu’s booth, between the dizzying expanse of Panda series upgrades for Bambu Lab printers and the new (FUN)CTIONALS range of maker toys, sat the VVD (or ViVid,) Biqu’s answer to multicolor on Klipper. Occupying a similar form factor to the likes of Bambu Lab’s AMS, Anycubic’s ACE Pro, and Creality’s CFS, the VVD should offer similar capability from behind those four colorful front-facing RGB LEDs (heh – “vivid” – we get it).

The VVD is due to launch early-ish next year – March-April was the tentative window given – and an early indication of price puts it in the region of $200-$300. One to watch.
