After being forced to lay off 80% of its staff last month due to cash flow problems, Aleph Objects’ assets have been sold to Fargo Additive Manufacturing Equipment 3D (FAME 3D).

The US-based 3D printer manufacturer, which was founded by Jeff Moe in 2011 is known for a strict open-source approach. According to a release by Aleph Objects, which produces Lulzbot 3D printers, FAME 3D will continue “the open source legacy for its customer products.”
