„3Doodler“ is considered to be the first 3D-printing pen: With this penshaped extruder you can „paint in 3D“ – using molten ABS and PLA instead of ink. Now the german tech-trade-company Pearl offers a low-price-competitor: Freesculpt FX1-free just came to market.
The first impression from All3DP-editors, who tested the pen at CeBIT, were somewhat mixed. At least the price is reasonable – the pen costs 69,90 Euros in Germany. Freesculpt FX1-free comes with with 3 meters of ABS filament and german instruction manual.
