Following February's short-lived attempt to close the de minimis exemption for low-value shipments crossing the U.S. border, the Trump administration has now fixed a date and new conditions, with 30% of the value (or $25) levied in place of tariffs on specific categories of goods from China travelling through the postal system.
Much of what we covered in our article explaining the imminent impact of this on consumer 3D printing still rings true, though the calculation has changed somewhat. We'll cover the topic with what we now know in more detail soon.
