I'm all for learning to CAD my own models, but some shortcuts are too convenient to ignore.
One great example of this that I recently stumbled upon is tooltrace.ai, a tool maintained by manufacturing service provider finalRev. With it, you can quickly configure Gridfinity or foam shadow boxes to fit your tools. All you need is a photograph of the tools on or next to a sheet of A4 size paper, and Tooltrace will figure out the rest. So quick. So convenient.
