Comfy, Probably
by Matthew Mensley Jun 23, 2025
Deuter's new biking backpack is part 3D printed.

Featuring a patchwork of 3D printed "Airstripes" latticework cushions for optimal breathability, cushioning, and, let's be honest, looks–it looks pretty cool–the Deuter Hiline 14 is yet another subtle and useful way to inject some more 3D printing into your other hobbies.

The padding, 3D printed by German polymer tech company Oechsler, joins a list of printing-pimped products that includes Osprey, whose several-year-old UNLTD collaboration with Carbon has been cushioning backs since 2022.

The Hiline 14 is currently only available in Europe for ~€320. (It varies by country.)
