For Sole Operators

A teaser on LinkedIn shows an upcoming desktop 3D printer from shoe specialists Zellerfeld.

Posted by CEO and co-founder Cornelius Schmitt, we see the UI of this mysterious machine, ready with models from the company's library and Zellerfoam material. They'd be the first to say they're a technology company, even if you think shoes when you hear the name, so this move tracks well.

The message to go with the teaser is about not needing to wait for samples – it's for designers to speed up the validation of their designs. It would be very interesting to be able to personally print a pair at home for personal use instead, though.
