There's a whole bunch of 3D printing and maker-tech sales going on right now. We've rounded them up, and highlighted some of our favorite deals from each.

Father’s Day is this Sunday, and there’s a ton of sales from 3D printer and other maker-tech manufacturers that could make for great places to grab a gift.

My own father retired this year and immediately asked me which 3D printer to buy – he picked up a Bambu Lab Mini. I’ve been pretty surprised at how many printing hours the historically tech-averse handyman has put into the device, and how invested he’s been in learning about it. The market really has grown to a new level of accessibility, and can make a great gift. Or if, like mine, your dad has already started 3D printing, supporting the hobby with consumables or neat accessories could be a good option, too.

There are Father’s Day sales right now from Creality, Elegoo, and xTool, plus some otherwise-named sales from Anycubic, Qidi Tech, and Revopoint. A lot of our favorite 3D printers and other preferred tech are up for grabs at a discount, so buckle up as we break it down.

For Elegoo’s part, our favorite resin 3D printer for under $500, the 16K Saturn 4 Ultra, is on offer with modest savings bundled with some resin and the company’s Mercury Plus V3 or Mercury XS wash & cure units – essential post-processing gear for messy resin 3D printing. The bundles appear only to be available on Elegoo’s Father’s Day sale page, so be sure to visit and take a look at the 20% bulk-resin offer while you’re there! If resin is too messy a prospect, check out offers for up to 24% off the Neptune 4 series of FDM printer.

Anycubic and its “Fantastic Weeks” sale, going on until June 26, has a healthier range of offers. The company’s recent Kobra S1 and Kobra 3 Combos, complete with an ACE multi-material system, are each $200 off MSRP right now. That’s $549 and $349, respectively – a tempting price for multi-color 3D printing (but we haven’t actually seen the S1 above its $599 “launch price”). Anycubic says two ACE can be chained on both systems for 8-filament prints.

In terms of resin, the Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Max, our favorite large resin 3D printer, has a slightly steeper $220 discount, bringing it down to $749 for a 298 x 164 x 300 mm build volume machine. There’s a lot more where that came from, so be sure to peruse the full sale.

Qidi Tech also has a non-Father’s Day “Mid-Year Carnival” sale going on right now. It ends a little shy of Father’s Day on June 13, but you still have time to grab a deal. The company had some of our favorite enclosed 3D printers not so long ago, and they’re still excellent options – especially if you want active chamber heating. The X-Max 3, for example, is a mid-sized 325 x 325 x 315 mm build volume machine with an actively heated chamber, currently $50 off for just $699.

For Creality’s part, the company says 3D printer discounts for its Father’s Day sale will be “unlocked” June 15. But, there are already a few discounts live, like 10% off the recent multi-color Creality Hi or a healthy 33% off the Core XZ Ender 3 V3, which is also sold as a combo with Co-Print’s multi-material system. If those aren’t for you, there are “flash sales” across the store leading up to Sunday. That includes 3D scanners and laser engravers, so you could pick up the “metrology-grade” Otter or Raptor scanners for 17% and 20% off, respectively.

If a 3D scanner sounds like the right fit, then Revopoint3D – manufacturer of our favorite budget 3D scanners – is also having a sale where you can snag the “metrology-grade” MetroX for $849, or the affordable Inspire for $319.

Finally, we’ve clocked xTool’s Father’s Day sale, which is offering scaling discounts of up to $800 based on how much you spend. To cap it out, you’ll need to spend over $6,999. But, spending over $3,999 will net you $300 off, and that’s the perfect number to pick up an xTool P2 – the company’s “smart” laser cutter and engraver that goes head-to-head with systems Glowforge – for $3,699 after applying the discount.

That’s all the sales we’ve noticed. But, do you know something we don’t? Find a particularly appealing deal we didn’t highlight? Just want to share your gift for dad? Comment below and share with the class.
