SainSmart has just launched a larger entry in its budget PROVerXL series of CNC cutter / engravers. Called the PROVerXL 6050 Plus, it joins the PROVerXL 4030 and marks the first time SainSmart has offered a cutting machine of a similar size to the likes of the popular (and pricey) Shapeoko and X-Carve brands.

At 991 x 782 x 641mm (39.02″ x 30.79″ x 25.24″) the PROVerXL 6050 Plus promises more possibilies with a larger working area of 600 x 500 x 115mm (23.62″ x 19.69″ x 4.53″), new design structure and pre-assembled core system.

The PROVerXL 6050 Plus has a larger working area

Other functions of note include the use of dual HG-15 linear rails for improved rigidity and accuracy, plus a full ‘T-Slot’ spoil board giving far greater flexibility in work holding. SainSmart points out a quick setup time too, thanks to its “pre-assembled core system”. This seemingly means that the larger assemblies of the machine ship complete, leaving you just to bolt the thing together. Some degree of upgradeability is offered in the inclusion of a larger 65 mm spindle holder. A 300 W spindle comes as standard.

The PROVerXL 6050 Plus is currently being sold for an early-bird offer of  $1,799, discounted down from what appears to be its RRP of $1,949. The company’s site indicates this discount ends on August 21, 2022, with shipping estimated from mid-September.
