Prusa's flash summer sale knocks 20% off the assembled MK4S 3D printer, marking a new all-time low price. Other discounts stretch to free or reduced shipping on the Core One+, running through July 14.

I recall a time in 2024 when Prusa held a sale on the MK4. “Now is the best time to get the MK4” I said. They immediately released the MK4S right after. So I’ll say it again – now is the best time to pick up a Prusa MK4S – and let’s see if that manifests an MK5 for us all to lust after. I doubt it will happen, but a guy can dream, no?

Regardless, starting this week and running all the way through to July 14, the Prusa Summer Deal takes up to 20% off the MK4S 3D printer (10% off the kit, 20% off the ships-assembled version), bringing the printers down to their lowest prices yet, said the company in a blog post announcing the sale.

Printer Sale Price Pre-Sale Price
Original Prusa MK4S (kit) $639 $709
Original Prusa MK4S (assembled) $799 $999

Additionally, the assembled Core One+ is available with reduced shipping ($17.99) in the U.S. and free shipping in Europe. All of the printers ship with a full 1 kg spool of PLA and educational materials for getting to know and use the machine.

Mysteriously, the free or reduced shipping offer is tied to an unspecified order weight threshold, so there’s room for you to add accessories to your basket and benefit from the same deal.

The Bondtech INDX upgrade for the Core One+ is sold separately from this sale, and has only just started shipping to early Founder’s Edition buyers.

We hear the common refrain that Prusa’s hardware is too expensive. “Too expensive” is of course a relative thing to say when you consider the different economies at play between the Prague-based manufacturer and its predominantly Chinese competition.

It isn’t wrong, though – they are pricier, which can be a bitter pill to swallow when the printers ultimately do the same printing job. But a Prusa is an altogether alternative kind of product. Built entirely in the EU and, now, the U.S since Prusa’s acquisition of Delaware-based PrintedSolid, much of the Czech company’s hardware is made in-house.

The Prusa Summer Deal runs until July 14. Check out the Prusa webstore for more details.
