Get your Pokéballs ready – Polymaker is releasing free STLs of the original 151 Pokémon and showcasing each print on its fast-growing Instagram account.

Each day, @polymaker_figurines releases a post containing a time-lapse video of a new model being printed. The posts also spotlight the colors of Polymaker PolyTerra and PolyLite filament you’ll need to create a nearly screen-accurate representation that requires no painting or post-processing.

Printing-wise, things seem fairly simple. Most of – if not all – the models so far are single-file prints. While many do require supports, they are easily removed, if Polymaker’s videos are anything to go by.

The models’ quality has not gone unnoticed, either; the Instagram posts have each amassed hundreds of thousands of likes – and the polymaker_figurines account already has nearly a million followers – with excited users praising the end results.

“The growth has been insane, and we are still in shock about it. The reach and engagement has really broken outside of the usual 3D printing-related community and into a new realm,” Luke Taylor, Polymaker’s marketing manager, said in an email to All3DP. “You can read in many of the comments people saying, ‘Now I want a 3D printer!'”

Follow the @polymaker_figurines Instagram to see each time-lapse as it’s released, if only for the eye candy, or head to the connected repositories on Thingiverse, Printables, and MakerWorld to grab your own free Pokémon STLs.
