HP has developed a 3D printed box of gadgets that showcases the multifaceted objects industrial 3D printers can create.

The HP Multi Jet Fusion Box of Tricks is a great way for salespeople to show the versatility of 3D prints says The3DPrintingBootcamp who posted the video on Reddit on Monday.

The video exposes the real versatility of HP’s Multi Jet Fusion printer which can print a wide range of geometrical shapes with different functions.

Industrial printers like HP Multi Jet are setting a high bar for commercial print operations. The box exemplifies the range of materials and shapes that would be impossible to create at home.

The box was designed by thinkTEC 3D, a developer and manufacturer that has also created a cube-style box using the HP Multi Jet printer.

In a YouTube video posted by HP this April Andrew Jones (UK channel manager at HP) explains that the box was printed in one build. The printer uses powder fusion technology and “everything in the build platform can be optimised”. He goes on to showcase all the elements inside the box including a “functional chain.”

If you ever needed an inspirational 3D print video, especially one that has the power to wow the uninitiated, then this is definitely it.
