ErectorBot, a seasoned pioneer in large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM), has spent the past 12 years advancing deliberately and patiently – both in and out of the spotlight.

From early gantry systems to sophisticated large-format platforms, ErectorBot has remained laser-focused on engineering precision, cost efficiency, and real-world customer needs.

The result is a scalable, process-interchangeable, high-performance ecosystem built for modern industry at large, grounded in the understanding that no two clients are the same. Since founding the company in 2014, CEO Leonard Dodd has refined his early 3D gantry system into a full array of scalable systems designed for those seeking an advanced yet cost-effective solution for all LFAM needs.

The ecosystem is anchored by two primary machine lines: the IND Series and the HD Series. The IND Series is purpose-built for indoor and outdoor deployment, engineered to withstand harsh environments while delivering high-throughput performance across mixed additive and subtractive applications. Ideal for construction and infrastructure, it brings durability, scalability, and cost efficiency directly to the job site. The HD Series is optimized for controlled environments, supporting reinforced structures, extended build volumes, and continuous-duty operation for precision-driven manufacturing.

At its core, ErectorBot offers a full menu, curated to address the rising limitations, challenges and, most notably, costs affecting the LFAM market. Our configurable solutions seek to answer the call for a more economical offering that can match and exceed current large-format benchmarks.

To start, choose your machine envelope: anywhere from 12 square feet ($21,650) to 160 square feet ($69,792) for an indoor HD Series. Alternatively, those seeking larger work envelopes can opt for an IND Series: 400 square feet ($275k) to 6,000 square feet ($750k).

Determine process requirements: ErectorBot gantries offer a full range of end-of-gantry (EOG) toolsets, including extruders for concrete (3DCP), thermoplastics (HDPE, PLA, etc.), metal, and resins. Subtractive tooling is also offered in the form of industrial-grade milling bits and lasers. 3D scanners can also be added to the mix for those needing “copy/paste” capability for large-scale parts and components.

Then, select a software package; all configurations maintain open workflows. Users can opt for ErectorBot’s proprietary software packages or industry-standard packages like Aibuild. That flexibility is now amplified through our new software alliance with Aibuild, which unlocks advanced non-planar manufacturing capabilities and expands the boundaries of LFAM.

Additionally, all gantry systems are equipped with our newly developed and proprietary multi-controller interface, enabling highly customizable and seamless integration across processes and workflows. In practical terms, this control architecture allows customers to adapt software, processes, and end-of-gantry (EOG) tooling on the fly.

Ushered from the shelves of our clandestine R&D facility in the deserts of Southern California, ErectorBot also brings to the table advanced multi-axis kinematics configurations that can be adapted to any machine footprint: 12 square feet to 6,000 square feet and across both platforms, HD and IND Series. ErectorBot delivers full nine-axis motion and six configurable variants: Standard, Blaster, Stinger, Liberator, Nine Ops, and the mil-spec, dual-extruder “Warlock.”

Central to the platform is our newly released (Q1-2026), economically priced, high-performance BlueZircon extruder, available in two editions: the Blaster edition, designed for fixed, high-throughput applications and priced at $7,495, and our A/B axis “unlocked” Liberator edition, which offers a complete spherical range of motion at a competitive price of $12,495. Both BlueZircon editions feature proprietary ceramic composite heat shields. By fully encasing our heating elements in a cone of superheated air, we have successfully printed with some of the most difficult thermoplastics, including HDPE.

Supporting ErectorBot’s commercial expansion is a strategic partnership with The Bolton Agency, an industrial marketing firm founded in 2018 by Trevor McNaney, with a proven track record of establishing brands within the additive manufacturing industry. The Bolton Agency brings experience in strategic positioning, search engine marketing, and web development.

To celebrate our 12-year anniversary, 2026 system upgrades, new BlueZircon thermoplastic extruder lineup, partnership with Aibuild, and comprehensive response to today’s market landscape, ErectorBot is offering a limited-time “Made in America” 33% discount on all products through All3DP. Use discount code “All3DP” at the time of inquiry or purchase.
