August 20 sees the introduction of the INSPIRE 2, MetroY, and MetroY Pro – Revopoint’s new generation of 3D scanners.
Following the launch of the Revopoint Robot 3D scanning system, Revopoint has whisked the covers off the three new 3D scanners it says will form the next generation of its digital capturing technology. With applications in 3D printing, historical preservation, product design, and digital media, Revopoint’s new series of scanners are capable of assisting users in a variety of ways.

Equipped with advanced infrared laser and structured light technology, the INSPIRE 2 is built for scenarios where mobility and accuracy must go hand in hand. This high performance 3D scanner excels in applications such as 3D printing, design, and animation.
With the INSPIRE 2 3D scanner, you can create accurate 3D models with a precision of up to 0.03 mm and an accuracy of up to 0.05 mm. Thanks to its dual-module scanning modes, efficiency and versatility has been maximized, with the structured light capable of scanning faces, bodies, and other highly detailed scans of intricate objects marker-free. Meanwhile on the laser front, 11 parallel laser lines deliver high-precision scanning on even glossy or dark surfaces, and strike the perfect balance between efficiency and accuracy.

Thanks to precision optics and evolved scanning technology, the Inspire 2 is capable of consistently reliable 3D scanning results outdoors, and demonstrates reliable performance in both shaded and semi-bright conditions. Thanks to a new optical zoom feature, the system can enhance surface detail capture by focusing the projected light field, and the zoom levels of 1.5 and 2 x magnification can be adjusted based on the size of the object.
Scanning with the INSPIRE 2 is also cable-free, as the system includes a built-in WiFi 6.0 module, allowing for fast wireless connections to be formed between computers and mobile phones. An included power bank handle with INSPIRE 2 Premium Edition also ensures you won’t run low on power too. To optimize the whole experience, the photolithographic calibration plate comes with a pattern accuracy of up to 20 microns, ensuring that you can maintain up to 0.03 mm of precision when you calibrate.

Engineered for precision and versatility, the Revopoint MetroY offers a flexible solution to the capture of small to medium-sized objects. Its industrial-grade blue laser technology provides high-accuracy scanning, making it perfect for applications in design, engineering, and 3D printing.
The MetroY delivers exceptional results with a precision of up to 0.01 mm and features three handheld scanning modes. Its powerful cross lines laser mode uses fifteen pairs of blue laser lines to capture up to 1.57 million points per second, allowing you to easily and efficiently scan glossy and dark surfaces. For more intricate details, the parallel lines laser mode uses fifteen high-powered parallel blue laser lines to capture complex geometries with superior detail, while a single line mode specializes in the capture of holes, grooves, and narrow surfaces.
With an advanced WiFi 6 connection, the MetroY supports fast, low-latency wireless scanning, giving you the freedom to move around your workpieces without being tethered to a PC. The included high-accuracy lithography calibration plate with a pattern accuracy of up to 10 microns ensures reliable and consistent accuracy with every use.
An HD RGB camera is also built in, capturing vivid surface textures and creating true-to-life 3D models. The free Revo Metro software supports a complete workflow, from point cloud scanning to meshing and export, ensuring you have all the tools you also need for post-processing.
Developed for those who require advanced levels of 3D scanning flexibility, the Revopoint MetroY Pro is a technical powerhouse. With an expanded set of scanning modes and tools, it’s designed to handle the most demanding projects with speed and precision.
The MetroY Pro empowers you with five flexible scanning modes, ensuring you have the right tool for any task. The single-line and parallel-line modes are identical to those of the MetroY, but the MetroY Pro enhances performance with 34 cross-lines, delivering a fast scanning speed of up to 1.7 million points per second.
The new full-field blue structured blue light mode captures objects with intricate geometry at a staggering rate of 7 million points per second, all without the need for markers. This mode is perfect for capturing highly detailed models of faces, bodies, or complex mechanical parts. When it comes to the laser, the cross lines laser scanning mode uses seventeen pairs of blue laser lines to capture difficult-to-scan surfaces like black or glossy objects with ease.

The professional-grade experience extends beyond its core features. The included dual-axis turntable allows for a hands-free, automated scanning workflow that is both fast and incredibly precise. To further streamline your work, the WiFi connection supports wireless scanning, while the streaming media screen sharing feature lets you view your scan progress on a mobile device in real time, making it easier to monitor your project and achieve perfect results.
