After 23 years of development, the milestone release of the reputable open-source CAD software is finally here.

FreeCAD, the popular open-source CAD software, has been released in version 1.0.

The milestone comes after 23 years of development and brings “topological naming problem mitigation code, an integrated assembly workbench, a new materials system, and many UI/UX improvements.”
