Elegoo Goes Big with New Entries in Its Neptune 3 Series
Launching soon, the Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus and Neptune 3 Max feature larger build volumes than also-recently revealed Neptune 3 Pro, plus improved specs.
Elegoo last week announced the impending launch of two new 3D printers, the Neptune 3 Plus and the Neptune 3 Max. The machines join the recently announced Neptune 3 Pro as part of the OEM’s rapidly expanding Neptune 3 series.
The three new machines share many of the same specs and features, among them a dual-gear direct extruder, magnetic PEI-coated print plate, 4.3-inch touch screen, and dual print cooling fans. Where they notably diverge, however, is build size. The Neptune 3 Max, perhaps obviously, boasts the largest of the three, at 420 x 420 x 500 mm. The Neptune 3 Plus, meanwhile, features a build volume of 320 x 320 x 500 mm, with the Neptune 3 Pro at 225 x 225 x 280 mm.
The Pro, Plus, and Max also respectively feature 36-, 49-, and 63-point mesh-bed leveling – and come at increasing retail price points ($230, $350, and $470).
There’s no word on a solid release date for the Neptune 3 Plus and Neptune 3 Max – all we have at the moment is “soon.” The Neptune 3 Pro is up for pre-order on the Elegoo website already. For full details and specs, check out the useful comparison table the company posted on Twitter.
