Creality Showcases the New K1C CoreXY 3D Printer at CES
Details are scarce, but what little we do know seems to point toward a more prosumer-oriented machine.
Creality is showcasing its new K1C 3D printer at CES 2024 and shared some details in a livestream earlier this week. The machine will be the latest in the company’s “flagship” K1 series that we can’t help but notice doubles down on a familiar CoreXY naming scheme.
Official details are scarce at this point thanks, in part, to connection issues resulting in a poor-quality livestream. However, we did catch mentions of built-in carbon filters, a “full metal” extruder, and a reinforced door (cue the shattered glass jokes).
The livestream hosts also seem to express surprise at how quietly the K1C prints. Based on these features, signs point to the K1C – like the Bambu Lab X1C – leaning more toward prosumer applications.

Those looking for more information right now won’t have a difficult time finding it, as specs for the printer have already leaked online. It’s worth noting that Creality has told All3DP that the leaks aren’t entirely accurate. We’ll be back with more information as soon as it becomes available.
