Launched late this year and packing an 8K LCD, giving 28.5-micron X/Y-resolution across its 250 x 123 mm build area, the Anycubic Photon M3 Premium is no slouch. Going toe-to-toe against one of our preferred printers of the last year, the Elegoo Saturn 2, the M3 Premium has the resolution, the build volume (250 x 123 x 219 mm total), and the hardware to turn heads.
A ball screw flanked by dual linear rails secures printing motion. At the same time, Wi-Fi connectivity and access to Anycubic Cloud allow remote printing. The platform also features a library of models for you to chuck at the printer from your smartphone.
The name is a little hyperbolic, but as a general usability upgrade on many of Anycubic’s other machines, it appears to have a lot going for it. The Photon M3 Premium launched at $639, dropped to $619 for the lead-up to Black Friday, and can now be had for even less.
As part of Anycubic’s Black Friday sale, you can pick one up for $598 at Anycubic’s official web store using the code “BLACK3D” at checkout.
