The Anycubic Photon P1, now live on Kickstarter, delivers stable, repeatable performance for demanding workflows with industrial-grade reliability, while introducing optional support for innovative dual-color and dual-material printing.

In recent years, resin 3D printing has moved beyond single, display-oriented prints toward more demanding workflows that require repeatability, material flexibility, and predictable results at scale. Now live on Kickstarter with a limited-time Super Early Bird price starting at $499, Photon P1 is built for creators and professionals who rely on consistent output rather than one-off success.

At its core, the Photon P1 focuses on delivering stable, repeatable performance across long print runs, while expanding what users can achieve with dual-material and industrial-grade resin printing.

Designed for Long-Run Consistency

Achieving consistent results across repeated resin prints remains a core challenge. Even small variations in exposure, peeling behavior, or platform alignment can accumulate over time, especially in batch production. Long-term consistency ultimately depends on how core systems – light delivery, release mechanics, Z-axis motion, and intelligent monitoring – work together.

Photon P1 is built with a system-level design that not only maintains long-term stability and consistent output but also ensures every individual print meets a high standard of quality.

At the optical level, the LighTurbo 4.0 light source delivers highly collimated illumination (<2°) with over 92% light uniformity, ensuring even curing across the build area and reducing dimensional drift when printing full trays of identical parts.

Repeatability is further supported by Wave Release Technology combined with an NFEP release film, reducing peel force by up to 60% and minimizing deformation during long runs or when using higher-viscosity resins.

Mechanical accuracy comes from an industrial-grade Z-axis system using a ball screw and precision linear rails, enabling Z-axis repeatability within ±0.01 mm. A precision-milled steel build plate, with an optional perforated version, provides stable adhesion, particularly for demanding materials.

These hardware systems are reinforced by Smart Assistant 3.0, which monitors print conditions in real time and provides on-screen guidance when irregularities occur. Together, this integrated design delivers predictable dimensions and surface quality across hundreds or even thousands of prints, making Photon P1 a machine built for consistency over time.

Expanding Possibilities with Dual-Color and Dual-Material Printing

Photon P1 also introduces support for dual-material printing through an optional Dual-Material Print Kit, enabling both dual-color and dual-material applications. By integrating this add-on into the workflow, users can assign different resins or colors within a single print process, tailoring material properties or visual results to specific structural and aesthetic requirements.

In practical terms, this enables:

  • Printing structural parts alongside visual or reference elements
  • Separating functional zones within a model
  • Reducing post-processing steps by printing components in different colors

For creators working on complex assemblies, prototypes, or multi-part designs, dual-material printing helps streamline workflows and improve clarity during both testing and presentation. Rather than switching machines or reprinting parts separately, Photon P1 enables a more integrated approach to resin printing.

Ready for Industrial-Grade Resin Applications

Beyond standard resins, Photon P1 is engineered to handle a range of industrial-grade resin materials, including heat-resistant and wear-resistant formulations. These materials are commonly used for functional prototyping, mechanical testing, and validation models where strength and durability matter more than aesthetics alone.

To support these materials, Photon P1 offers controlled peeling behavior and stable exposure performance, helping reduce print failures often associated with higher-viscosity or specialty resins. Combined with its monitoring system, this makes the printer suitable for users who need reliable output from demanding materials, not just entry-level resins.

It’s a practical step toward bridging the gap between consumer resin printers and more specialized industrial systems – without sacrificing accessibility.

A Smarter, More Connected Workflow

Photon P1 integrates remote workflow features that allow users to send print jobs, monitor progress via a live camera feed, and receive alerts during printing. This is particularly valuable for longer or batch prints, where unattended operation is common.

Additional features such as AirPure 2.0 contribute to a cleaner printing environment, making the machine easier to integrate into studios, workshops, or shared workspaces.

Built for Users Who Print with Purpose

With Photon P1, Anycubic emphasizes consistency, material versatility, and intelligent assistance – three areas that matter most to users printing for real-world applications. Whether producing repeated functional parts, exploring dual-material designs, or working with industrial-grade resins, Photon P1 is designed to deliver dependable results over time.

As resin printing continues to evolve, Photon P1 represents a move toward machines that prioritize reliability and workflow efficiency as much as raw resolution.
