The Anycubic Kobra 3 V2 is now available to pre-order, with a few different combos and some early-bird bundles.
Anycubic has fired the starter pistol on the first stage of the new Kobra 3 V2’s pre-ordering run, and boy are there a lot of options.
The printer itself is coming in on the back of the first Kobra 3, which suffered with reliability issues, and despite some promise, proved to be a bit of a disappointment.

First, the basics. We’ve got a 255 x 255 x 260 mm build volume, a 110 °C bed, and a full-metal quick-release hot end that can reach 300 °C. That hot end also has an upgraded nozzle – the one found in the firm’s S1 printer. According to Anycubic’s K3V2 product page, the printer should be capable of a 300 mm/s default speed, with the potential to hit 600 mm/s – though you shouldn’t realistically expect to see the latter while printing.
Anycubic also says bed leveling has been improved over the last Kobra 3, and there’s now a 720p camera that partners up with its AI pal to potentially detect a dreaded spaghetti print error. Users will need to print camera mounting parts before setting it up, with files provided with the printer.
The Kobra 3 V2 can support eight colors of filament from launch via its ACE Pro material changer. This was something promised for the first K3, with a “Hub” expected to be launched. To date it has not yet arrived, leading to doubts if it ever will. Instead, the firm opted for a “temporary” community-developed solution you had to print at home – something labeled as an “unofficial DIY tool”. Coincidentally, Anycubic is launching the K3V2 with an eight-color adaptor that looks strikingly similar to the temporary fix model “…customized and voluntarily provided by enthusiastic users from the community”. Draw your own conclusions…
The ACE Pro’s filament drying function (up to 55 °C) is super useful. Do note that it runs through the printer itself, however, so you won’t be able to run it separately. As expected with most material changers, TPU is not compatible, and Anycubic doesn’t recommend you use ABS or ASA at all, ACE Pro or no ACE Pro.
Right, it’s time to talk about pricing, and this is where it gets tricky.
Anycubic will be slowly ramping up prices over the next hours/days/weeks. They’re running a Kickstarter-esque “early-bird” campaign thing, including some time-limited bundles available for just the next few days. What the actual prices will be through that time period is not set in stone – or so we believe. Anyway, it’s table time.
Remember, prices will change multiple times until the official launch, so this table might go out of date fairly quickly. Helpfully, Anycubic has a page detailing information regarding shipping, too.
There are some extra things to note, too. Anycubic is doing filament add-ons of 4 and 8 kg sizes listed as 50% off, as well as “free mystery box”. 300 people will also get a $10-30 gift card included. We presume the first 300, or 300 randomly selected from the pre-order stage. It’s not clear.
