What is it? The Hand-Screw Clamp is a featured model on Thingiverse for good reason. Though its durability obviously does not match that of a standard wood-working clamp, it does demonstrate many of 3D printing’s capabilities and it’s extremely fun to build and do some light clamping with.

Who Printed it? Nearly two-hundred Thingiverse users have posted makes of this popular model, which is usually printed in multiple colors. This model requires zero support structures, so after printing, no post-processing is needed before hopping into the assembly. Admittedly, this clamp can’t handle very much stress or strain, especially when printed in PLA. So, to put it in jakejake’s own words, “don’t get too crazy with it!”
