A collaboration between Polar Filament and Joe's Computer Museum has resulted in a mega new filament.
Vintage computing enthusiasts must be rejoicing this week after Polar Filament launched its new Retro Platinum PLA. The filament is color-matched from an original Mac Color Classic courtesy of classic computer collector Joe Strosnider, owner of Joe’s Computer Museum.
Strosnider provided the computer and the funding to develop the filament and was happy to release the formulation to the public, so now anyone can purchase this iconic shade from Polar’s online store. Currently, pre-orders are being taken at $21.99 per 1 kg spool.

It requires no screws or glue and should all snap together, and while printing it you should take time to enjoy the excellent “old” website that its designer has produced.
