If you’re looking to have something 3D printed, whether it’s a figurine, a few product prototypes, or thousands of metal parts, there’s a growing range of 3D printing services to choose from. So many, in fact, that it can be a challenge to pick the right one with the right technology and the right materials that can deliver where and when you need it.

And when it comes to price, it can be difficult to find affordable solutions. On top of that, if you want to change the material, finish, model dimensions, quantity, printing technology, or your location, you’ll have to go through the same search all over again to find the best prices.

This is where the 3D printing service marketplace Craftcloud comes in.

Craftcloud by All3DP, delivers instant quotes on your project from our huge network of more than 150 3D printing service providers worldwide. Simply upload your digital design file, pick your materials and finishes, and select from among manufacturers’ quotes.

Craftcloud is a worldwide marketplace of 3D printing service providers who compete against each other for your business. Upload your digital file and receive instant printing quotes. From those quotes you can choose the least expensive, or perhaps you need the fastest delivery or a combination of both. It’s your choice.

Who are Craftcloud Manufacturing Partners?

Craftcloud’s network of global partners is thoroughly vetted for quality and service. New partners are only accepted onto the platform if they meet rigorous criteria and can deliver the quality, price, and service to high standards. The partners are identified in the ordering process so you know exactly where your part is coming from.

A new customer review feature launched in 2024 provides even more information about our partners to help you make the best selection. Every Craftcloud user is invited to rate and review the manufacturer that they selected to receive their part from. There are already more than 1,000 customer reviews and experience feedback.

The customer reviews are available once you’ve uploaded your digital file and have been presented with offers. Next to each manufacturing partner’s name, you’ll see a star rating you can click on to read all of the reviews.

Through reviews and offers, you’ll be confident that you’re selecting the best manufacturing partner for your part, but the Craftcloud team acts as your primary point of contact. You don’t need to spend time negotiating with suppliers or tracking orders, and instead can spend your time creating innovative products.

We handle every aspect of managing our 3D printing service providers, so all you have to do is upload your model and place the order. Aside from simply finding the best possible price to get your 3D model printed, we also are proud to offer friendly live customer support — no support bots.

Craftcloud aims to make the market transparent. We deliver manufacturing quotes from several partners in real-time to show you the cheapest and fastest options available – including local offers. You can always trust you are getting the best price because the price you see on Craftcloud is the same price you’d pay if you purchased directly with our 3D printing manufacturers.

Unlike other 3D printing services, Craftcloud is completely free to use and you don’t have to create an account to get quotes or place an order.

How Does It Work?

The ordering process with Craftcloud is extremely easy (Source: Craftcloud)

Our team is committed to making Craftcloud easy to navigate and use, so you can find the solution you need for you projects quickly and clearly.

The first step is to upload a file of your 3D model. Craftcloud supports many file formats, including STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, and ZIP files. Once your models are uploaded, Craftcloud will calculate in real-time how much each service partner will charge for manufacturing your part in a given material and will show you the best price.

Your Digital Library of Parts

Every model you upload can be saved in your account for future use so your company’s digital library of parts can live on Craftcloud and be ordered by anyone on your team. Additionally, we immediately tailor offers to your location to present you with the best shipping options. Staff in London can order the same part as staff in Austin but each part can be manufactured locally.

Once your digital file is uploaded, all you have to do is to choose a material, finish, and color. Then the offers are displayed, including the choices for the best price, quick delivery, and Craftcloud’s recommendation (the best mix of price and delivery time).

Lastly, choose from among the offers for the best available price, Craftcloud’s recommendation, or the fastest delivery among other options (Source: Craftcloud)
Select your offer, then add your model to the cart. After adding all your models, click Proceed to Checkout, and you will be prompted to complete your order. Once processed, your models will be produced to your specifications by the manufacturing partner you selected.

Traditional machine shops are one of the biggest adopters of 3D printing technology. They know that 3D printing is often the better technology for certain projects – but it isn’t always the better option. Often, CNC machining your part can be faster or cheaper. That’s why Craftcloud has expanded to offer CNC machining. So many Craftcloud 3D printing partners also offer CNC machining that it has become a natural fit for the platform.

Also, companies often have projects where some parts are ideal for 3D printing and others are better for CNC machining. Now, you can use Craftcloud for all of your part creation needs.

It can also convert 2D drawings into 3D files, which is especially useful for companies that want to upgrade their legacy or spare parts catalogs.

Craftcloud + CADmore boasts response times in minutes, quotes in hours, and models designed in less than a day and two free revisions are included for every project.

Models can then be uploaded to the Craftcloud 3D printing marketplace, where you’ll choose your materials and receive quotes from various 3D printing services.
