Yes, Arnold’s back. In “Terminator: Genisys”, Schwarzenegger once again reprises his most iconic role, the Terminator T-800. The former ‘Governator’ will play a reprogrammed T-800 (Model 101) with aged human tissue. This time, he’s back with a vengeance (old) and a sheepish grin (new).

In 1984, then young director James Cameron released the first “Terminator” movie, which instantly became a box office hit. Arnold Schwarzenegger not only coined his famous “I’ll be back” one-liner, but also made the Terminator T-800 a pop culture fixture. Over 31 years later, can this fifth entry in the series still pull in the crowds?

3D printed robots? Look for the T-800

Austrian (!) Maker DEL-1979 improved the T-800 Terminator Exoskull of Landru to a gorgeous looking robot head. DEL-1979 wanted his model to be more movable and flexible. His T-800 Terminator Exoskull consists of eight pieces. Parts of the head are moveable, as the model is held together with several M4 screws.

What’s also cool: In the back of the head is room for electronics. So you can add extras like speakers or USB ports to your 3D printed robot head. Red LEDs, in example, will give the 3D printed robot these mischievous glowing eyes.
