If you’re interested in the business side of 3D printing, there are two more dates for your diary next year – both incorporate the former 3D Printshow.

3D Printshow had an interesting approach of distilling the latest and greatest consumer trends into an enjoyable show and conference. Over the last years, there were 3D Printshows in California, London, Paris, Berlin and Dubai, to name a few.

But that’s going to change.

Tarsus, a business to business media group, acquired 3D Printshow in 2014. After requests for larger, consolidated events internationally, two new B2B events for the 3D printing industry will be run in 2016. The events, named Additive Manufacturing Europe and Additive Manufacturing Americas, will focus on the fastest growing vertical sectors of healthcare, aerospace and automotive.

Tarsus already run several shows in these sectors, the most prominent being the Dubai Airshow (aerospace), AAITF (automotive) and A4M (medical), these new events will also incorporate some aspects of the 3D Printshow.

Focussing On Business Instead Of Consumers

Lisa Milburn, Managing Director of Tarsus, said: “Additive manufacturing is an exciting growth area and recent developments in equipment and software are providing plenty of opportunities for real-world applications. 3D Printshow has been the leader in dedicated 3D printing events and, combined with Tarsus’s experience of running large, industrial shows around the world, we look forward to working with our partners to deliver the largest events for this sector.”

The show aims to attract the designers and innovators that are driving development and innovation in the industry. So, as part of the new shows, there will be a 3D Printshow pavilion, focusing on design and prototyping.

In the press statement, Tarsus claims that the entire spectrum of 3D printing and additive manufacturing equipment will be on show floor. From live demonstrations of working machinery to conferences running alongside the trade shows, with dedicated streams for the vertical sectors.

If you’re interested in a day of 3D printing, then the Additive Manufacturing Europe will be held on 28-30 June 2016, at RAI Amsterdam. This will then be followed by Additive Manufacturing Americas on 7-9 December 2016 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
